The new van is here!

Thanks to generous community support for our Rev Up Independence Donation Drive, we have successfully raised more than $60,000 to purchase a professionally modified, all-season, wheelchair accessible vehicle. It arrived in March.

“We could not have done it without the community’s support,” says Jennifer Jerrett, Community Engagement Specialist for Community Living Huntsville. “This new van creates more opportunity for people we support to live, work, and play in unique and purposeful ways in their community. We cannot thank you enough.”

The van will provide reliable, discreet, and vital transportation, so people can get to essential appointments and services, volunteer roles, recreational activities, social engagements, community events, and more. It replaces a bulky, older vehicle that had reached the end of its road.

“Thank you to our donors for your contributions in support of community inclusion,” continues Jennifer. “We are so excited for the new van to rev up independence in North Muskoka.”
