Huntsville, Ontario – Ready, set, throw! Gather your team and sign up now for the fun-filled Grip It & Rip It Muskoka Disc Golf Tournament on its way to Huntsville.

“We’re swapping clubs for flying discs and adding a seriously playful spin to our annual golf fundraiser!” laughs Jennifer Jerrett, Community Engagement Specialist for Community Living Huntsville. “Disc golf is like regular golf’s cooler cousin – same rules, but instead of chasing little white balls, you’re launching discs through the air. It’s wildly fun, super social, and perfect for all ages and abilities. So grab your friends, limber up your throwing arm, and get ready to rip your way around the course!”

Community Living Huntsville hosts the 18-hole tournament at Evergreen Fields Disc Golf Course at McCulley-Robertson Recreation Park in Huntsville on Thursday, September 18, 2025.

The cost is $70 per player, or sign up your crew and enjoy a special $260 team rate. Every player will get a custom disc, a round of disc golf, pastries and other refreshments, a barbecue lunch, and a chance at prizes.

If you’re new to the sport, don’t worry – seasoned players will be available to teach you the rules and techniques before the tournament begins. Volunteers will also be on the course to offer guidance and support.

“Whether you’re a pro or a total beginner, it’s the perfect chance to get outside, meet great people, try something new – and support a great cause while you’re at it,” says Jerrett.

Funds raised support the not-for-profit organization’s affordable housing initiatives for people with developmental disabilities and families who access its services.

Jerrett thanks Community Living Huntsville’s 2025-2026 Signature Event Partners, including Platinum partners Tall Trees Muskoka and Deerhurst Resort, and Gold partners Lovegrove Construction and Design, Stephenson District Lions Club, Optimize Wealth Management Dan Willett Financial, Refined Kitchen and Bath, Property Prep Canada, and Tulloch, for making the event possible.
