As concerns around COVID-19 continue to grow, Community Living Huntsville would like to provide an update about how we are responding to the outbreak.
Our organization is working diligently to guard the health, safety and welfare of individuals receiving support and employees of Community Living Huntsville. We are closely following the recommendations by public health authorities including the Simcoe Muskoka Health Unit and Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer.
As a proactive measure, our staff members are following our emergency preparedness plan to ensure we are protecting the people we support and our employees from illness. Our office will be temporarily closed to the public until our health officials and governments consider it safe to reopen. Until then, we will continue to support individuals and families as an essential service.
While some of our staff will be working remotely, others on our residential and supported independent living teams will continue to be on the front lines providing vitally important services to the people we support. In an unprecedented situation like this one, we are extremely proud of our staff who work to ensure that others can remain healthy and active within their homes.
We will continue to monitor the situation and will provide updates as necessary. If you have questions regarding our closure, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Thank you for understanding as we do our part to help protect our community.
In an effort to support the safety and well-being of everyone in our community, we are gathering resources and community updates about COVID-19. We will work to keep this information updated as the situation changes.
